Happy Thursday! Today we are talking skincare and our go to masks. We picked up a new Korean line at Target yesterday: Make P:rem. I did the soothing mask and our mom did the firming mask. We loved them both. They are cool and refreshing when you put them on, and after 20 minutes, our skin both felt more smooth, glowing and moisturized. They are $6.99 a mask, and since you only get one, I would recommend doing them once a month or before a big event. They would make your make-up go on smooth!
Our go-to spa in Raleigh, Lorena Luca, turned us on to this eye cream by Neocutis. It's a miracle in a bottle; it targets fine lines, puffiness and dark circles. We scoop ours up on Amazon ... much cheaper than buying at the spa or other online stores!
We swear by this daily Aveeno face moisturizer. It's cost effective but continually on best beauty buy lists. It's important to hydrate your skin but also protect against harmful rays - this one does it all!
Another staple is this face wash by Simple. You can't beat the price point, and it truly cleanses your skin, removing oil, dirt and other impurities. Added bonus: It's perfect even for sensitive skin with no dyes.
We love to mix it up when it comes to face masks. In addition to sheet masks for moisture, we alternate with liquid-based ones. Two masks we keep coming back to are the Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Face Polish and the Herbivore Brighten Mask. These really target fine lines and breakouts, while also evening out skin tone and texture. Trust us, your (glowing) skin will thank you after using these. No artificial perfumes, or harsh chemicals.
