Favorite Smoothie Recipe

Spinach, frozen banana, blueberries, almond milk and Liveglean sweet potato flour. We have been trying to eat cleaner and sweet potatoes are super healthy- we have been loving our newest smoothie addition! Put in a blender and enjoy!

Friday Thoughts
Happy Friday! We can't believe it is the middle of October...this year is flying by! With that being said we have started thinking about holiday gifts to give or get! Today we are featuring some of our favorite finds. Enjoy!
We love all Beautycounter products. How pretty is this palette? It's perfect to go from day to night and added bonus: their products are safe and don't contain all those bad chemicals!
We also love these this soap trio. It would make a cute hostess gift.
Ashley is a big Colleen Rothschild fan. She has been loving the products she ordered. This set is an easy way to try a few of her products and it's only $95! It would also be great for traveling too.
Nest Candles will forever be a favorite. This candle scent is a great way to sample all their holiday scents: sugar cookie, birchwood pine and holiday. It can be hard to choose just one and with this set problem solved!
These cheese knives from Nordstrom would be a fun gift! Perfect for the person who loves to entertain or who just loves cheese. The price point is amazing at $39 for a set of 3.
Hands down...the best gummie bears ever. If you haven't had these before we promise you will LOVE them! They make great stocking stuffers or a small extra something to add to! This set comes with two...perfect for giving one away and keeping one for yourself! ;)

Williamsburg Recap
Happy Thursday! I had this planned to go up Monday morning, but better late than never! This past weekend my mom, sister and I took a girl's trip to Williamsburg, Virginia. We had such a great time! We went when we were little but honestly I didn't remember a lot so it was fun to see everything. If you haven't been before I would really recommend going. It's the perfect, easy weekend getaway!
I don't get to go outlets often but since they were in town we decided to stop. I picked up these J CREW FACTORY sunnies and I promise they look JUST like my Illesteva glasses. They were only $19 so I won't feel bad if they get scratched! Love a good bargain!
Saturday we spent the day exploring Colonial Williamsburg. The town is so cute and full of so much history. We had lunch at the cutest tavern: King's Arm Tavern. We loved the violinist who came by and played while we ate lunch.
My favorite meal of the trip was at Christinia Campbell's Tavern. It has been said this was George Washington's favorite spot in town when he was visiting. The food was also SO good! My sister had the crab cakes and my mom and I had the pasta and both were delicious. They also serve an old recipe called spoon bread which was so addicting! The service was incredible too. If you visit Williamsburg this is a must go to spot!

One of our favorite buildings was the governor's house (below). How gorgeous are these wall colors?! They were even prettier in person and I am convinced my next house needs these colors. Obsessed!

Favorite new shoes and Thursday Thoughts
Happy Friday Eve! I am leaving for VA tomorrow morning for a girls trip with my mom and sister so I have been trying to cram everything into 4 days, so sorry for the lack of posts. I found the cutest sliding mules yesterday at TJ MAXX. The best part: the price! They were under $55! I really don't like spending a lot of money on shoes because I am so hard on them. I know I will wear these a lot all season, what a fun trend!

I made dinner this week and made these tatertots. I had a follower ask about them and I picked mine up at Target. They are marketed for kids but who says adults can't enjoy them too?!:) They are delicious and made with cauliflower which I love.

Another reason I love fall: my crockpot. We scored this new cookbook with the Target Cartwheel App and can't wait to use it. All of the chili recipes look amazing and super easy. I love coming home from work and having dinner whipped up. What are some of your favorite crockpot recipes?
I picked up these two new wines at Total Wine. I love my beloved Meomi and ITER Pinot Noir is becoming a new favorite. I also loved this Malbec. I always find the staff at Total Wine to be so helpful and these two recommendations were right on point.

Ashley and I love abstract art and are always looking to find new artists we love. My friend Dare creates some amazing pieces. You can check out her work on instagram: Dare_Snead_Art. Her paintings are unique and so beautiful. I am having a hard time choosing a color palette, but I know I will be getting one of her gorgeous pieces!

Weekend Happenings
Hope everyone had a great weekend and Happy October! Firstly, we wanted to say our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the horrible tragedy in Las Vegas.
This weekend was a busy one. Saturday we went to the NC State Football game. It was the perfect weather for some college football. Ashley made the best blueberry muffins and sausage balls. The spread was topped off with mimosas-yum! Tasty food, cocktails, amazing company and a Wolfpack win = a great Saturday!
If you love veggie sandwiches Bruegger's Leo de Veggie is a must! So good!
Sunday we had dinner with our parents. My mom puts out the best fall decorations. I love her front porch and her "scary" Byers Choice Halloween display. The pumpkins are from Trader Joe's and were only $6.99!
